A few weeks ago I shot the wedding of Madeleine and Scott. The venue they chose for their wedding was Stanneylands in Wilmslow which is a fantastic hotel hidden away in the Cheshire countryside. It was such a privilege to photograph a wedding at Stanneylands for the first time, the place oozed with fresh inspiration for photography. Working as a wedding photographer in Cheshire, presents me with great opportunities to work with lovely couples like Madeleine and Scott, in perfect locations like this one.
BRIDAL PREPARATIONS AT THE STANNEYLANDS
The wedding of Madeleine and Scott wasn’t the only big event that’s happened for them this year, they also had a gorgeous baby boy just 12 weeks before the wedding so along with her own preparations for the wedding day, Madeleine also had to look after her son Benji and get him in to his tiny little suit. He looked so cute and adorable. Maddie and her two bridesmaids were in one of the hotel room at Stanneylands having their hair and makeup done before getting in to their dresses while Scott spent time with his groomsmen down in the hotel bar with the wedding guests.
STANNEYLANDS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
The civil wedding ceremony took place in The Chambers room with all their family and friends watching on as they exchanged their vows before moving upstairs to the State Room for a fabulous wedding breakfast followed by a couple of very emotional speeches from the groom and the father of the bride. The two best men however saved their speeches for later in the evening as they had pulled together a full history of Scott’s life and loves which was all accompanied by an enlightening slideshow.
THE EVENING WEDDING RECEPTION
Following the best man speeches, Maddie and Scott kicked off the evening celebrations with their first dance before the dancefloor filled and the guests let their hair down until late in to the night.
