Hallmark Hotel Wedding

I’m writing this blog just over 12 months after assisting Chris at Carpe Diem Photography at the wedding of Sashena & Carlton which was shortly followed by the country being locked down due to Corona Virus so this was the one and only full day wedding that I was inolved with in the whole of 2020 so luckily it was a really eventful one.

I started the day at a Manchester City Centre apartment with Carlton and his groomsmen for their preparations before we headed off to Manchester Registry Office for a small legal ceremony with just their close family and friends. Then in a break from the norm we were off to another venue for a much larger celebration ceremony at Christ Followers International Church in Cheetham Hill where there were loads more guests who were singing and dancing through a really fun ceremony.

Luckily as it was a late January day we had some lovely weather so for the family group photos and the bride and groom portraits we went to a local park before heading to the Hallmark Hotel for the wedding reception and to party late in to the night. In true Afro Caribbean style, there was plenty of bling, numerous speeches and everyone had a great night with loads of dancing.

Enjoy the Photos!
