Wellbeing Farm - Weddings with a difference

When people start to plan their wedding day they often do an internet search to see where they should start and what a traditional wedding should look like. Then there are the people that look for something a little bit different. Something that will be more memorable for them and their guests. That’s where venues like Wellbeing Farm near Bolton rise above all other wedding venues. It’s not often you can have donkeys, llamas and a sheep posing for photos with you on your wedding day. It’s not often a wedding venue will have a bouncy castle and space hoppers so that the adults can act like big kids. Then there is the attention to detail inside the barn. The décor, the lighting, the hay bales, the rustic tables to give that rural farm wedding authenticity. Wellbeing Farm is a wedding venue like no other which is exactly why it quickly became one of my favourite wedding venues to photograph a wedding at.

Zoe & Andy chose Wellbeing Farm as their wedding venue because they wanted a day of fun celebrations where their guests could relax and enjoy the full wedding day knowing they had exclusive use of the barns, the bars and all the venue’s facilities. The staff at Wellbeing Farm are amazing from start to finish and are happy to go the extra mile to make sure they help in any way they can with all the wedding planning before the day and making sure everything goes exactly to plan on the day. From the bride and groom’s morning preparation, the wedding ceremony and the exceptional food right through to the fantastic party in the evening, Wellbeing Farm and their staff make sure everyone has the most amazing wedding day.

Morning Wedding Preparations

Zoe began her day in the cottage on Wellbeing Farm with her bridesmaids having their hair and makeup done by the lovely Laura and Natalie from Nala & Knot while Andy was at home with his groomsmen getting in to their traditional Scottish Kilts before making his way to the venue in a stunningly restored yellow VW Beetle. Once the guests all started to arrive on to the farm and make their way in to the barn it was time for the bride to take the short walk from the cottage in to the beautifully decorated barn for the ceremony where her groom was waiting for her with a lifesize cardboard cutout of his best man who was stranded in China due to ongoing Covid travel restrictions.

Wedding Reception in the Converted Barn

Zoe & Andy made their wedding vows in front of their friends and family before exchanging rings which were brought to them down the aisle by their fantastically well behaved Jack Russell dog who was being looked after for the day by Annabel from Pawfect Occasions. After the ceremony it was time for a few photos with the farm animals and tractors before having a bounce on the bouncy castle and the space hopper then back in to the barn for some fantastic food, some very emotional speeches then on to the dancefloor to dance the night away.
