Pryors Hayes Golf Club Wedding | Sophie & Mitch

Pryors Hayes Wedding Photographer

Sophie had a dream of getting married outdoors so choosing Pryors Hayes Golf Club as their wedding venue seemed like an ideal choice. With the golf course being set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside and the venue having the outdoor gazebo covered in the lush green leaves, it is a venue that gives you everything you would possible want for the perfect outdoor wedding.

Sophie & Mitch actually began their day at a nearby hotel where Mitch spent the morning with his groomsmen getting in to their suits while Sophie spent the morning with her bridesmaids having their hair done by Amy at ‘No Loose Ends’ and their make-up by Emily from ‘Emily Jane Make Up’ while enjoying some champagne and strawberries before her father arrived to escort her to Pryors Hayes for her wedding.

Once at the venue, Sophie waited nervously with her bridesmaids while all the guests took their seats for the outdoor wedding and Mitch took his place at the entrance to the gazebo, occasionally glancing down the aisle to see if his bride was coming. When the time was right, Sophie made her way through the leafy archway and in to the gardens to see her groom with a huge smile on his face. They exchanged their vows under the gazebo before having their first kiss as husband and wife and walking back down the aisle under a shower of confetti.

We were then lucky enough to be given access to a couple of golf carts so we could drive out on to the golf course to use the lake and the fairways for some lovely bride and groom portraits. I can honestly say I’ve never had such an easy portrait session. Sophie and Mitch were full of smiles the whole time and showing how happy they were to be together. I could already tell they were perfect for eachother and going to have a long and happy married life.

We were then back to the club house for the wedding breakfast and some fantastic speeches that gave us tears of emotion and laughter from the groom and the best man. As Mitch had been captain of his rugby team for many years there were plenty of stories to be told about his antics with his mates but there were also plenty of stories of the time he’s spent with Sophie and how happy he makes him.

Later on the evening party kicked off with the traditional cutting of the cake and the bride and groom’s first dance before a few songs on the dancefloor and a spectacular sparkler exit to end the night on a real high.

This new cheshire wedding venue is absolutely gorgeous and the perfect setting for any wedding. The venue is set amongst 120 acres of a beautiful 18 hole golf course and the gardens of the club house. Set right in the middle of the Chesire countryside, it makes you feel like you are in the middle of no where. One of the best things about this wedding venue is that you are completely separate from the golf course or any golfers so you have exclusive use of the grounds without any disturbance.

Inside Pryors Hayes is very clean and modern, the main room is flooded with natural which make perfect wedding pictures for documentary wedding photographers like myself. This an all rounder for weddings come summer or winter, full of space, light and enjoyment.
