For the wedding of Tanya and Richard I started off the day with the guys in the morning before going to the stunning Mitton Hall for the wedding ceremony and reception where the sun was shining all day so we were lucky with the light for some fantastic portrait photos of the bride and groom.
GROOM PREPARATIONS AT THE FAMILY HOME
Richard began his wedding day at his sister’s house just south of Preston where he was getting ready with his 2 best men and his groomsmen. They were all very relaxed and having a good laugh for most of the morning before helping to get each other in to their suits including the 2 young page boys and even Richard’s pitbull dog had a suit of his own and became the centre of attention at the wedding.
MITTON HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
The wedding ceremony took place in the gorgeous orangery at Mitton Hall which has fantastic light especially when the weather was as fantastic as it was. After a short civil service and a reading from one of the bridesmaids, the newlyweds made their way outside for their guests to congratulate them with the traditional throwing of confetti. Tony and I then spent about 15 minutes with Tanya & Richard in the outdoor grounds of Mitton Hall to get some lovely couples portraits of the bride and groom.
MITTON WEDDING PORTRAITS
Once the room had been turned around by the staff at Mitton Hall, the guests were invited in to the wedding breakfast for a gorgeous 3 course meal before being entertained by the fantastic Paul Guest who sung several swing classics and had all the guests up on their feet joining in and even doing a little karaoke. Then it was on to a few short speeches from the groom and his best men before the evening reception started. Just as the sun was setting, giving a nice orange glow over the rear lawn of Mitton Hall, Tony and I took the bride and groom outside again for another short portrait session where Tanya and Richard walked hand in hand and got to spend some nice relaxed time together as we got some fantastic photos of the 2 of them.
Tanya and Richard then started off the evening partying with their first dance after which their friends joined them on the dance floor to party the night away. Congratulations to Tanya and Richard on a fantastic wedding day. I hope you enjoy a long and happy marriage together.
