Browsholme Hall & Tithe Barn

Browsholme Hall and Tithe Barn is an exclusive wedding venue in the Ribble Valley not far from Clitheroe and was the venue for my most recent wedding. Rebecca & George were married in the Tithe Barn which provides a rustic setting thanks to its magnificent history.

Due to the ongoing government restrictions the reduced number of wedding guests arrived at the barn wearing masks but it was still easy to see the hidden smiles coming through the eyes. Luckily the bride was able to be walked down the aisle by her father to her awaiting groom who looked so excited to be marrying his true love.

Wedding Portraits in the rain

After the short wedding ceremony and after the newly wed couple had a few moments to recieve some much needed congratulary hugs from their loved ones, I took them off in to the gorgeous grounds of Browsholme Hall for some portrait photos. It may have been raining slightly but rather than let that put us off, we embaced the rain, put an umbrella up and thought happy sunny thoughts.

We then headed back to the barn where the wedding breakfast was served followed by a couple of fantastic speeches by the father of the bride and the groom who have clearly bonded as a true family in the time they’ve known each other.

After the speeches it was time to take the bride and groom out one more time for the classic Browsholme Hall photo opportunity in the rowing boat on the fishing lake. Luckily I had been given a drone as a birthday present just a week earlier so it was the perfect opportunity to take a few aerial photos while the happy couple had a peaceful few moments alone in the middle of the lake.
